Ces petites fleurs d’encyclia cochleata ressemblent \u00e0 des petits poulpes, vous ne trouvez pas ? Ou \u00e0 des extraterrestres…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quoi qu’il en soit, j’ai eu la chance qu’on m’offre une hampe florale encore porteuse de fleurs, accompagn\u00e9e de celles qui \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 tomb\u00e9es. L’occasion de profiter, en bleu, de l’esth\u00e9tique compl\u00e8te du v\u00e9g\u00e9tal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remontant le temps pour me connecter \u00e0 ce XIX\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle bouillonnant qui m’est cher, j\u2019exploite le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 du cyanotype \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d\u2019Anna Atkins (1799-1871). Dans mes \u0153uvres, la plante, n\u00e9e une premi\u00e8re fois de la lumi\u00e8re, se r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00e0 nouveau dans la confidence de ses d\u00e9tails, gr\u00e2ce au contraste pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame par la saturation des sels de fer. Ces cyanotypes v\u00e9g\u00e9taux, \u00e0 la fois puissants et intimes, nous rappellent l\u2019essence de notre vitalit\u00e9, notre propre origine lumineuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec la s\u00e9rie des Cyanorchides, je rend hommage \u00e0 ces plantes si particuli\u00e8res que sont les orchid\u00e9es. Connaissez-vous l’\u00e9tymologie de leur nom ? Il vient du grec ancien \u00ab\u00a0orchis\u00a0\u00bb, qui signifie \u00ab\u00a0testicule\u00a0\u00bb, en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la forme de leurs racines tuberculeuses. On ne peut que s’\u00e9merveiller devant la d\u00e9licatesse des fleurs, l’agencement complexe des p\u00e9tales, la multitude de structures et dimensions que cette famille v\u00e9g\u00e9tale d\u00e9ploie avec intensit\u00e9…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
